Lancôme Teams Up with Baccarat for Limited Edition Perfume Boxes

Lancôme teamed up with luxury crystal maker Baccarat for the limited edition La Vie est Belle perfume bottle. The perfume bottle is presented under two glass bell jars within a music box made by Reuge and topped with a beautiful miniature Baccarat chandelier. On the front there is a button which when pressed, the theme song from the perfume's campaign plays.

There will be only 15 pieces of this limited edition perfume and box. Each box needed around 120 days to be produced. Starting November 15, 2013 this luxury edition of La Vie est Belle perfume will be available at the Lancôme institut in Paris but can be viewed at Sephora on the Champs-Elysées in Paris end of October 2013. Prices have not been announced.

Zaha Hadid To Design ME by Melia in Dubai | Architecture

Back in 2007, it was announced the Zaha Hadid Architects would be designing the Opus tower in Dubai. The construction of the Opus is currently in progress, however Zaha Hadid was asked to design the ME by melia hotel (the first in the Middle East) and service the apartments to be housed within the complex. It will include penthouse suites with private roof terraces and will be designed fully by Zaha Hadid, the interior & the exterior. The hotel is expected to operate in 2016.

The Average Woman From Around The World

A group of experimental psychologists at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, have published a collection of images that summarize average faces of women from around the world. The photos were generated by aligning multiple pictures of female volunteers and compositing them together to create an approximate “average face.”

Updated Renderings of The NBK Tower in Kuwait By Foster + Partners | Architecture

Foster + Partners designed the new National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) tower to be environmentally friendly, Gold LEED certified. The tower will be 300 meters high, the gross area is 120,000 sq.m. I was able to obtain the updated renderings of this tower located in the Sharq area in Kuwait.

I don’t recall meeting anyone who doesn’t like shish barak, a thin dough with meat filling in a thick yoghurt sauce. At the beginning of my vacation this year, I found my mom in the kitchen teaching my sister how to make it. I joined them and decided to do this post. The only drawback is that in order to make your life much easier, you will need the tool shown below, otherwise I know personally I would never go through the hassle. The tool is from Syria, so if you know anyone from there you might want to ask them to get you one.

Ayurvedic Detox Tea Recipe | From My Kitchen

I posted a video on instagram and really liked it! ( how modest!) but for some reason it wouldn’t work on wordpress. Anyway, I was watching the Dr.Oz show the other day and they recommended this tea to be sipped warm all day. This improves digestion, removes body toxins, and break down fat. It’s really easy, try it out several times a week, or daily if possible. I had no issues with the taste. Let me know if you try it.
