Kia Designs is an award winning, independent Interior Design studio based in London. Many of their projects have gained recognition from various national and international publications as they continue to provide clients with unique designs which reflect their style and needs.
I found this particular project pretty interesting, very calming with subtle use of design elements and beautiful materials such as signature furniture and fine materials.
From Kia Sunda on this project:
As an Interior Designer, it is always very exciting when a client of ours purchases a property which has stunning natural features. In the case of this property, on Earls Court Square, its greatest asset is undoubtedly its double height living room. In order to really highlight and extenuate this height we decided to drop 3 stunning Tom Dixon lights from to ceiling, above the dining table. Opposite them we also hung an oversized mirror above the fireplace to make the most of the huge internal walls of the property. The client was keen for us to create an airy and sharp design – in order for us to achieve this we felt that we needed to make a very affirmative decision with regard to the flooring and decided that a parquet oak floor would fit the specification very aptly.
The use of such a spectacular light wood allowed us to use a darker wood for the kitchen worktop. This stunning piece of walnut contrasts nicely with the flooring and, along with the highly textured giant rug and white lacquered kitchen units, creates a really textured feel within the main living area.
The master bedroom overlooks the living area: with only glass doors separating the two areas the property has an incredibly open feel to it.
There is a minimalist feel to the bedroom which only adds to the airiness of the property and the accompanying en-suite (which the client wanted to be masculine, functional and crisp) is deceptively spacious and exceptionally soothing. The main tiles have a ‘spar-like’ quality, whilst the mosaics are bold and classy.
Kia designs have also been known for their customized rug designs such as the ones below, very beautiful and high quality.

Is it just me or is that Louis XV chair completely out of place in the master bedroom?
