I love the fact that in almost everything, everyone is going back to nature, whether in food, design, fashion, etc.. In this Ukraine based project, Sergey Makhno Workshop, same designers of the famous Twister restaurant, used green and natural materials to create a loft-like space. With natural li8ght flooding the  apartment, lovely modern furniture, and breathtaking wood flooring, this penthouse is a winner. If I were to work on a project inspired by nature, this is what it would probably look like.

You can’t but notice how Far Fendi Casa have come in the past few years in terms of their home line. The quality and exotic materials used keep amazing us with every new collection. Their sofas, exquisite chandeliers, well crafted rugs and accessories, all made with un familiar yet luxurious materials. The finishing is also impeccable. Recently Fendi launched a kitchen line which resembles no other. the detailing and designs are just out of the ordinary. Their access to their furniture line to complement the kitchen just gives their concept that unique image: LUXURY. Notice in the below images the harmony and craftsmanship of their cucinas.

We’ve all been loving Valentino’s Rockstud & Naked Rockstud collection as they have been on fashion enthusiasts everywhere. However, in terms of their shop designs, Velentino have been working lately on a new concept for the stores to portray intimacy yet a luxurious feel to the space. Their boutiques are usually divided into several rooms housing the different aspects of their collections. Their latest boutiques are in Milan, Sao Paulo, Paris and Beverly Hills. The concept developed by Creative Directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, in cooperation with world renowned architect David Chipperfield.

If you are headed to Milan for the iSaloni or any other reason, you might want to consider visiting this beautiful bakery, Vyta, designed by Colli + Galliano Architects. The bakery started with one branch and now has four locations. The long concave/convex wood planks give an amazing character to the space in addition to the lovely Ripple Chairs from Moroso. The color contrast, the food display, & richness of materials used complement the concept well and give the bakery a gourmet image just as their products portray. Modern interiors have always been my preference due to the fact that I am not a fan of anything complicated. I am, however, a big fan of incorporating trends in a classic way that would live through the times. In this particular house the use of timber prevailed in the design and though might seem much, i found the materials and colors used very coherent and subtle. The warm wood, cold cement, and custom made furniture following the shapes in the house were blended beautifully. The number of bedrooms is quite intriguing as well. Below you will find the description of the space as written by the interior designers themselves.

In this beautiful mostly white interior of designers’ Gilles & Boissie 19th century apartment, you will find a unique contrast which combines both the classic background but furnished in modern pieces and abstract art work. According to Elle Decoration UK edition, they used products from their own design as well as others they loved done by close friends such as the artwork and photos.

I love how they respected the history of the space and yet furnished it in a way that would make the space comfortable and cozy. I particularly loved the Herring Bone flooring especially in that ash finish.
