Ann Hathaway Brooklyn Apartment | Celebrity Homes

This Brooklyn Clocktower apartment was bought by Ann Hathaway in January 2013 and it seems she can’t live in the property because it is not cozy enough. In my opinion it has spectacular views and the interior can easily be made more livable. anyway she is selling it for $4.25 million, interested?

In addition to the open floorplan and beautiful views, the building offers a concierge, roof deck, and health club.

Luxury Designer Furniture 2014 | Furniture

It seems every year more well known fashion brands are launching furniture lines. This year Roberto Cavalli added several pieces to their small line launched last year and wowed visitors during Salone Del Mobile last April. Bentley Home also expanded the collection that debuted last year .

In this slideshow, you will find some of the latest furniture pieces by Fendi Casa, a brand that has grown dramatically in a very short period with breathtaking new collections every season, I think they have one of the widest ranges among brands in their category, also in the slide show are new furniture from Roberto Cavalli, Bentley Home , & Baxter.

Enjoy, and let me know if you want to see more.

Sacha Lakic is the main designer behind Roche Bobois’ most significant pieces. With the new Bubble sofa which will be officially launched October 2014, I couldn’t help but post some of his great designs. Sacha loves using latest technologies & materials while focusing on innovative designs. The pieces shown in this post are a small example of how he can accomodate several styles and tastes.

Browsing through Roche Bobois website, you will realize that some of the most remarkable pieces were in fact designed by him.

The event focuses on creative economies, intercultural exchange, design education and design entrepreneurship. Beirut Design Week is organized by the MENA Design Research Center, a non-profit organization cofounded by Doreen Toutikan and Maya Karanouh. The Center is focused on promoting a diverse understanding of design through the implementation of design research and collaborative multidisciplinary projects in the region.

BEIRUT DESIGN WEEK 2014: 3RD EDITION OF OUR MYRIAD DESIGN CULTURE

For the third consecutive year, Beirut Design Week brings you again the latest on all forms of design -local and international- spread all over the city, encompassing over 80 events and locations. With every year the design community grows and the goals of Beirut Design Week become more apparent. Since the beginning, the event stands firmly on three pillars which are the foundation and basis of all the activities that place during the week. These pillars are: creative entrepreneurship, education, and community. All three categories are equally important and sum up the reasons why MENA Design Research Center has initiated and continues to nurture this annual event.

Stereokitchen is a new 500 sq.m restaurant/ bar that opened in building in Pasteur st., Beirut, Lebanon. Designed by architect Paul Kaloustian, the main theme while designing was basing the layout around a perfect circle, this way the restaurant will make most of the breathtaking views surrounding the buildin, spacially that it is glass all around.

Materials used give a very neutral appearance, focusing on exposed concrete, wood, and light colored furniture, no drama was intended with this concept. Ceiling & lighting was designed by the famous Beirut based lighting company .PSLAB.
