Louis Vuitton presents the " LOUIS VUITTON VOYAGES " exhibition at the National Museum of China May 29th to August 30th 2011, Beijing.
This exhibition will be tracing the highs of the Vuitton Maison since its establishment in 1854. As the name of the show implies, it will focus on the traveling heritage of the house, from the handmade trunks of the past to the modern globetrotting figures who continue to stand by the brand.
Andreu World released a series of chairs and barstools during the last Milan fair that took place last April. The highlight of their collection was the new line designed by world renowned designer Patricia Urquiola named “NUB”. In this collection, you will notice the common trends all designers whether in fashion or architecture are leaning towards. The trend is “the back to basics”, where designs were simple and part of a “natural” and somewhat rugged interior. Rubicon Group Holding has announced a $1 billion Res Sea Astrarium resort in Aqaba, Jordan. The resort is going to be ‘out of this world’ with its Star Trek theme. RBH will work closely with Paramount Recreation to make this attraction a 23rd century, futuristic theme. The 184-acre resort is expected to be complete by 2014. It will also ‘serve as a model for green energy’ with state-of-the-art renewable technologies throughout the facility. There will be a ‘future pavilion’ where people can learn about alternative energy sources ranging from solar and wind energy to grey water harvesting.

The Bisazza Headquarters located in Alte near Vicenza in Italy has been undergoing a renovation for the past decade. Architect and designer Carlo Dal Bianco has been working on the details of this one of a kind project. The premises is almost fully cladded in Bisazza mosaic tiles with bold statements and designs. The space is divided into numerous rooms in different colors, each is named after the dominant color. The bold floral pattern continues from the exterior to the interior of the building, accentuated with lighting
Whoever said mosaics are out of style, hasn’t met the designers behind the world renowned company Bisazza, which never fails to introduce new designs, patterns, and uses to its timeless products. Below are some photos of the rooms within their headquarters.
The building has several exhibition halls and meeting rooms, prior to its current condition, it used to be used for mosaic production.
