KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will begin serving meals on a new service for World Business Class passengers effective 27 March 2011. Leading Dutch designer Marcel Wanders has created porcelain, glassware, cutlery, linen and a tray.

The idea behind this project was to ‘help you feel wonder each time you use a mobile phone, to enable you to anticipate unprecedented ways of communicating, to give you the power to realize a lifestyle of freedom, liberated from preconceived notions, finding ways to embody the freshest ideas and never failing to stimulate your sensibility—this is the essence of iida’s mission.’ The project was revealed during DESIGNTIDE 2010, Tokyo held from October 30,2010 till November 3, 2010.
Swarovski Encrusted Sculpture of Michael Jackson
A statue completely covered with Swarovski crystals was created for the commemorating of Michael Jackson’s first death anniversary by Paul Smyth who operates under GalaxiaCrystalArt .The 28cm high statue is studded with a total of 14,800 Swarovski crystals. It took almost 100 hours of very careful and patience hard work to create this one time only piece. This piece has a black solid marble base that has a silver plaque with solid black engraving saying:”Michael Jackson 1958-2009″ . Only one of these was created as it was all done by one person .
Fans of the legend can enjoy this beautiful way of remembering MJ.
